Our client commissioned Jo Frances to revamp a new build apartment into a luxurious 'crash pad' with the feel of a boutique hotel suite.

The original layout was typical of it's type, with two small bedrooms and a bathroom on the lower level, and a large living room above with built-in kitchen.  The client gave us free reign, so we decided that in order to make the best use of the apartment and to suit the client's lifestyle we would completely switch the layout around.  The apartment was zoned to create a practical working space on the lower level to incorporate a new kitchen, utility and guest bedroom with a more luxurious 'living' area on the upper floor.

A bespoke dressing room was built over the stairwell, creating additional storage in order to maximise the footprint of the upper floor.

Using some of the client's existing furniture, alongside custom built pieces, a colourful inviting suite was designed to reflect the feeling of staying in a luxury hotel whilst retaining some home comforts.

After downsizing from a large rural farmhouse, I appointed Jo Frances to carry out the lifestyle and interior design to my duplex apartment in a county town, riverside setting. The objective was to give me a luxurious style of living in a more confined space.

What Jo and her team achieved at the end was a small property with a big attitude, utilising every inch of space and fulfilling the brief and my vision perfectly. I am delighted with the end result – a property that has totally fulfilled my lifestyle change without compromising luxury.
