Kirsty took a trip down to the farm yesterday with her children and harvested a punnet of strawberries and a few of the ripe blackberries.  Be sure to head over next week to make the most of the blackberry bushes when the fruit have turned from pink to juicy, plump black berries.

Lots of juicy blackberries to be had.

The strawberries are plentiful, but not quite ready for picking - an indication that the farm has had a super Summer of visitors.  The car park was busy and the play area was buzzing with happy children.  The children had a great time in the maize maze, finding clues along their way.  The chance to win a pumpkin is an invitation to get involved, especially after having seen the rows of vegetables growing amongst the aisles of fruit.

The kids are hoping to come back to pick a big one closer to Halloween

Let's hope this one is available next month.  They have made their decision on their favourite!

Meanwhile back at Jo Frances HQ.....

.........There is plenty to do!
